Leading service provider with a multi-branch network require a Qualified Accountant to join their expanding Head Office finance team, based in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Finance, working as part of a small team, you will be solely responsible for the complete finance function, from transaction processing to final accounts, for a new business set up in the UK. This role is expected to expand as the business grows. Key Tasks will include: Preparation of monthly financial and management accounts Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the UK business Accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger Fixed Asset maintenance Accruals and prepayments Preparation and submission of HMRC & Companies House returns for VAT, Corporation Tax and other statutory filings Assist with working capital management and cashflow forecasting Liaison with external Auditors and Tax Advisors Ideally looking for a Qualified Accountant with 2-3 years+ pqe, who possesses good hands-on financial & management accounting experience, along with some experience of UK tax submissions. Strong Excel skills (vlook-up/pivot table level) required. Happy to consider an Accountant not yet qualified if they have a relevant background.
