As a Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for optimising the performance of the engineering function in support of the overall site (multiple facilities based in St. Margaret's) business strategy, and all assets in line with Keelings best practice "Asset Management" process and adapted system.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:Develop and implement an engineering strategy for site to include maintenance, people deployment structure and maintenance best practice systems.Support optimised engineering planning, problem solving and performance management of the team.Design and develop engineering processes and control design to eliminate problems.Implement an asset management program to cover process equipment, services and manufacturing facility.Select and standardise use of technology, equipment and machine parts and ensure supporting procedures are fully documented.Management of capital budgets and implementation of capital projects. These include process, NPI, service and facility projects. Utilise Gannt charts, risk identification, and standardised purchase agreements to optimise project success. Use of CAD to optimise tool design.Oversight of engineering stores and fabrication/repair shop management including stock control, purchasing, spares availability and housekeeping.Lead and develop the Engineering team including recruitment, performance management development plans. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within team.Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, environmental, insurance and safety requirements.
