Duties Support the engineering requirements by managing and liaising with key project stakeholders (client design team, main contractor, suppliers, sub-contractors, etc.
). Assist in the execution of projects and provide guidance to ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and specifications.
This includes site activities related to validation and handover to the operations team. Assist in designing electrical systems such as instrumentation, low voltage distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), lighting systems, generators, UPS, and fire safety and detection systems. Familiarize with project scheduling within an operating plant. Ensure works are installed according to project specifications and change control procedures. Understand the typical project lifecycle from conception to qualification, with proven experience in this area. Assist project engineers with electrical design elements. Promote a safety culture in the design and execution of projects. Develop engineering alternative solutions, including detailed calculations and sketches for client approval. Education & Experience A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an electrical role. Good knowledge of current electrical power and instrumentation systems. Assist with the design, development, testing, and supervision of the manufacture and installation of electrical equipment.
