Mediolanum is seeking an experienced Senior HR Leader to drive strategic HR initiatives and support the delivery of high-quality services alongside the Head of HR. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to play a pivotal role in shaping organisational culture, workforce strategy, and high-performing teams.The Senior HR Leader will join the organisation's HR Team and provide professional and forward-thinking HR leadership support in a fast-growing organisation. The successful candidate will support the Head of HR in driving and further develop an established HR function, advance an existing robust HR strategies, and ensure alignment with overarching organisational strategic goals and objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong operational and strategic capability, excellent stakeholder management, and proven experience in driving HR excellence across multi-site environments. The position is cantered within a leading financial services company, with a particular focus on asset management/insurance business and would benefit from experience in senior HR roles within the financial services sector.The role will offer the opportunity to make an impact and to help shape the future of the HR function and a supportive environment where your ideas and expertise will make a tangible difference. You will be a key player in the organisational growth and success.Principal Duties of the position, including but not limited to:Support the Head of HR with high-level strategic and corporate HR leadership as part of the Senior HR Management Team.Promote evidence-based HR practice and support continuous improvement across the organisation.Develop, and motivate stakeholders while advising staff on all HR matters.Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and ensure effective communication throughout the organisation.Oversee with the Head of HR workforce planning, including personal forecasting, succession planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.Support Talent Acquisition activities, and the recruitment strategies in conjunction with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract top talent in competitive markets.Champion the integration and adoption of recruitment new technologies (AI-driven sourcing tools, applicant tracking systems, and data analytics platforms).Support the development and implementation of HR policies aligned with best practice, legislation, and national standards.Oversee in line with the overarching strategic plan the HR operations within agreed staffing levels and budgets, ensuring effective pay control.Provide expert support on employee relations matters and represent the organisation.Support organisational training campaigns and development strategies, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and professional growth.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate HR and training records.Evaluate and enhance HR systems to meet evolving service needs.Confident in Facilities & Office Management and Health & Safety collaboration.Skills and Competencies:Strong proficiency in traditional and new technology (AI)Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.Empathy and diplomacy for handling sensitive employee issues and fostering a positive workplace culture.Qualifications and Experience:A business degree or equivalent relevant qualification (postgraduate qualification advantageous).Minimum of 15+ years' senior-level HR leadership experience.Proven track record managing HR functions across multi-site operations.Demonstrated success in project management and delivery of HR initiatives.In-depth knowledge of employment law and industry regulations for ensuring legal compliance.Proven leadership ability with experience developing and empowering teams.Solid understanding of HR systems, payroll oversight, and compensation frameworks.
