Our client is currently accepting applications for the role of: EHS Compliance Advisor in Dublin.
Position Purpose and Primary Accountabilities
Purpose
: Compliance Representative for EHS Department. Primary Accountabilities include – but are not limited to:
* Collect data and track Company EHS performance
* Follow up on Near Miss / Good Catch tracking and action plans, close out with all functions.
* Carry out Accident and Incident Investigation and implement on corrective actions.
* Partner with key stakeholders, provide subject matter expertise (EH&S) across the functions.
* Support the maintenance of OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 management systems.
* Facilitate external audits, follow up actions through to completion including sharing results, key findings etc.
* Conduct internal audits.
* Influence and drive Safety culture development across all functions on site.
* Co-ordination of Safety training, competency assessments and environmental management training.
* Develop annual training needs analysis related to Company standards.
* Ensure all training and associated records align with legal, regulatory and best practice requirements.
* Lead and/or take part in EH&S projects where applicable.
* Developing and implementing written management programmes that address the requirements of the various EHS Standards.
* Support the Standard owners in the implementation and monitoring the execution of the compliance tasks that are required to be actioned to demonstrate EHS Standard Compliance.
* Coordination / tracking of action plans required to close out Tasks or Audit findings.
* Keeping up to date on regulatory developments / changes that impact compliance
* Supporting the management of third party Audits and regulatory inspections e.g. The Health and Safety Authority
Essential Criteria i.e. qualifications and/or experience
A third level qualification in Health and Safety, Process Safety or a related discipline with a demonstrated proven ability working in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Experience:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with and influence employees throughout the organization.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* PC literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
* Must be a team player with proven interpersonal skills.
* High energy, strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to lead by example.
* Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives.
* Ability to lead and develop individuals and team.
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple priority initiatives/projects simultaneously.
