Overview
Associate Director, Project Manager – Savills Ireland. Based in Dublin (Savills Commercial (Ireland) Limited, Dublin office). The role combines strategic oversight, business development, team leadership, and hands-on project delivery to provide market-leading consultancy services to Savills clients. The position offers significant career progression within a growing team, with responsibility for shaping client outcomes, driving performance standards, and contributing to the long-term growth of the department.
The position is based in Dublin, with project locations varying depending on client and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership & Governance: Lead the delivery of complex, high-value projects across multiple sectors, ensuring governance, compliance, and alignment with client objectives. Establish and oversee project frameworks, governance models, and reporting structures to ensure robust control of time, cost, risk, and quality.
* Client Leadership & Business Development: Act as senior point of contact for key clients, build long-term trusted advisor relationships; lead client pitches and presentations, articulating Savills value proposition and securing new mandates; develop and implement business development strategies to expand the client base, grow revenue streams, and contribute to departmental fee targets.
* Project Oversight: Oversee the preparation and management of project control documentation including execution plans, procurement strategies, tender documents, risk registers, and programmes; provide senior-level input into contract negotiations and procurement decisions; monitor project performance to ensure delivery to budget, schedule, and specification.
* Team Development & Collaboration: Mentor, support, and develop project managers and consultants; foster a culture of high performance and professional growth; facilitate collaboration across Savills service lines to integrate multidisciplinary expertise and maximise client value; promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and best practice adoption.
* Market Leadership & Brand Representation: Represent Savills at industry forums, client events, and professional networks; leverage market knowledge to advise clients strategically and contribute to thought leadership within the sector.
* Operational Excellence: Champion Health & Safety compliance and sustainable practices across all projects; drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, systems, and client service standards; take ownership for the commercial performance of projects, including forecasting, reporting, and financial accountability.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
* Degree-qualified in Project Management or related discipline; Chartered status preferred.
* Demonstrable experience delivering complex projects at senior level within a consultancy or client-side environment.
* Proven track record of client leadership, business development, and revenue generation.
* Strong commercial acumen with ability to oversee project budgets, financial performance, and risk management.
* Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with experience developing and motivating high-performing teams.
* Advanced proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, MS Office suite; knowledge of BIM/AutoCAD desirable).
