Project Engineer, E2E Hip & Shoulder Delivery
Location: Depuy based in Cork, Ireland (Hybrid working arrangements - 4 days onsite required)

Imagine your next project developing a New Hip Implant system within an End to End Hip & Shoulder Delivery team where your technical expertise directly impacts market launch and patient outcomes.
On a daily basis your work in End to End Hip & Shoulder Delivery will interact with Quality, Operations and the Design team to develop this system throughout its lifecycle from concepts to market launch. You will own either a process step in a project or a process technology for multiple projects within the End to End Hips Project Delivery Team. The project team will develop, qualify & launch an end to end manufacturing process capable of making implants to safety, quality, service and cost standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for process development, characterisation, qualification, and validation while collaborating with the Project Manager on key deliverables.
Process development, Characterisation, Qualification & Validation
Planning of key deliverables into action plans with the help of the Project Manager
Regular reporting on the status, performance, and risks of your process / technology
Participate in DFM reviews with Design Team to minimize lifecycle cost
Minimise Environmental and Health & Safety effects of your work
Adhere to the company’s procedures as detailed in the SOP manual.
Support Regulatory Affairs with product submissions.
KPI develop, track and deliver
All other duties as directed by direct manager
How to Succeed
You are a motivated and organised individual with at least 4 years of experience in product or process development within a regulated environment and a strong focus on quality.
Third level Engineering degree or similar discipline.
Experience in product / process development within a regulated environment.
Self-motivated, with focus on Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Proven Root Cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
Exposure to Project Management
Knowledge of medical device quality & regulatory systems
Certified Six Sigma qualifications.
