Financial Leadership Opportunity
Sanderson is partnering with a leading healthcare manufacturing company to fill a permanent position based in Offaly. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating the plant finance function to optimize accounting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Plant Operations Director in day-to-day management and operation of the facility.
2. Provide routine and proactive financial data to support business decisions.
3. Offer analytical, interpretive, investigative, and advisory services on business and commercial impact.
4. Ensure the integrity of accounts and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and board policy.
5. Liaise with auditors to complete year-end statutory accounts in a timely fashion.
6. Work with third-party advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion and filing of tax returns.
7. Establish annual budgets, monthly accounts, and weekly forecasts.
8. Assist in preparation and review of project requests for capital expenditure.
9. Develop subordinates through regular performance reviews.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Recent experience working in the manufacturing sector.
* Strong finance and team leadership experience required.
* Project management skills essential.
* Analytical and computer skills necessary.
* Team building skills required.
* SAP an advantage.
