Mulligans Pharmacy is a family-run business, established in 1957, that operates in the retail pharmacy sector, and occupies 19 sites across the south east of Ireland. This has been delivered through organic growth and acquisitions.
We are currently recruiting for a part-time or full-time pharmacy technician at our Western Road Pharmacy. This role is suitable for anyone with a minimum of 18 months of experience working in dispensaries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare prescriptions and support all general dispensary procedures in line with company and legal requirements
* Provide a consistently high standard of customer service and care
* Ensure stock control policies are followed and maintained
* Advise and assist customers with OTC (over-the-counter) medicines and products
* Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork
* Support the supervising pharmacist and dispensary management in ensuring the dispensary operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with pharmacy regulations
* Assist with the day-to-day running of the dispensary, including ordering, labelling, and maintaining accurate patient medication records
Skills & Experience:
* Pharmacy Technician qualification is highly desirable, though not essential
* Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal ability
* Professional, well-presented, and committed to maintaining high standards
* Self-motivated with a genuine interest in supporting the growth and success of the pharmacy
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently
* A strong team player with a positive, proactive attitude
