As part of our world-class team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Finance function. This interim position offers a 12-month contract with the possibility of a permanent role in the future. You will work closely with a dedicated and collaborative team, driven by a shared dedication to excellence and innovation.
How you'll make an impact
* Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, ensuring seamless communication and flawless execution of tasks.
* Supporting the daily activities of the Finance function, applying your analytical and organizational abilities prominently.
* Preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts to provide critical insights for decision-making.
* Coordinating the preparation of journals, bank reconciliations, financial schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations carefully.
* Contributing to the development of financial reporting within the team, aiming for continuous improvement and innovation.
* Reviewing changes in principal income statement and balance sheet categories to confirm accuracy and applicability.
* Addressing technical accounting queries promptly and effectively as they arise.
* Participating in a variety of projects, showcasing your versatility and dedication to team success

About You
* A qualified or nearly qualified accountant, preferably with practice experience, ready to bring your expertise to our team.
* Proven ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Advanced computer literacy, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel essential for success.
* Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
* A great teammate who leads by example, encouraging a collaborative and encouraging work environment.
* Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to prioritize various tasks effectively.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for clear and effective interaction with team members and collaborators.
