About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Package Manager to lead our package from inception to completion, including design reviews, programme development and technical coordination.
The successful candidate will report into the Mechanical Project Manager and will be provided with excellent support and career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the package from inception to completion, including design reviews, programme development, and technical coordination.
* Lead subcontractor selection and onboarding, from tender issuance and analysis to final appointment and integration.
* Oversee detailed design development with subcontractors, including technical submittals, BIM coordination, and interface management.
* Manage site operations, ensuring safety, quality, material logistics, daily coordination, and subcontractor performance.
* Support commissioning and handover, addressing snags, completing documentation, and ensuring warranties and training are in place.
* Track and report project progress, including cost and schedule control, weekly updates, and final account closure.
Requirements
* Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or relevant Mechanical trade background.
* 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/Engineer/Package Manager.
* Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
* Proven track record of leading teams on large projects with tight deadlines.
* Good commercial awareness and client-facing individual.
* Detailed knowledge of the full design and construction process of a project.
* Experience working on Data Centre projects advantageous.
* Proficient in MS Office.
