Our Company are currently recruiting multiple technicians in our Life Safety Systems field engineering department. The successful candidate's will be based in Dublin & Wicklow, but not limited these area's, as we provide nationwide service.We are looking for enthusiastic and career driven people who can competently service & repair fire alarm systems, emergency lighting systems, kitchen fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers to Industry Standards.Main duties include:· Primarily service of fire detection alarm systems, kitchen fire suppression systems, emergency lighting systems portable fire extinguishers in accordance with agreed service and maintenance contracts.· Provide regular reports on activities that will enable management plan strategic and operational direction for the field engineering team.· Support sales team specify customer needs through provision of expert advice during on-site inspections.· Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.· Respond to emergency activations and other attendances advised through service.· Attend product training when necessary and attain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all our client's product range.Main Responsibilities include:· Provide accurate reports on PPM disciplines ie: Fire Detection Alarm Systems/ Emergency Lighting Systems / Kitchen Fire Suppression systems/ Portable Fire Extinguishers & Fire Doors including fault finding & adaptive risk assessment.· Repair / Faulting finding / Installation & Commission of all Life Safety Systems.· Respond to Call Out Requests during & outside working hours within agreed timescales (allocated on a geographic proximity) & participate in our weekly shared On Call Rota Schedule (Out of Hours to reflect additional income).· Utilising our Mobile Work Management 'App' electronically record maintenance activity & parts used.· Interact face to face with Customers on site regarding their maintenance requirements, to include generating appropriate service certification and obtain agreed signatures.The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:Minimum 2-3 years specific experience in the fire alarm industry is essentialPossess certified industry training qualifications & provide written certification of sameAbility to demonstrate key knowledge & functions of testing fire detection alarm systems and/or programming and commissioning of common industry open protocol fire alarm panels such as Morley, Advanced Electronics, Kentec & wireless systemsOver the age of 25 is desirable, however no younger than 22 years of age due to fleet insurance requirements.Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.Full clean driving licence is essential.A demonstration of ability to work well and part of a team structure.Benefits· Company vehicle for suitable candidates· Company fuel card· Vehicle tax/insurance/tolls/maintenance & parking included· Company Phone & Tablet· Company uniform· Weekly wages structure· Bonus payments scheme available· Commission payments scheme available· Loyalty bonus payments scheme available· Quarterly staff socials participation· Pension eligibility scheme available· Salary D.O.EJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €29,259.37-€68,570.39 per yearBenefits:Company carCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programFlexitimeOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
