Health Care Assistant
The Health Care Assistant will engage in daily activities and routines of the service, inclusive of direct support to service users, administration work and daily household tasks.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily activities and care as assigned by the manager.
* Encourage recognition of individual needs and comforts.
* Act as an advocate for individuals and families ensuring provision of appropriate information and support.
* Develop social interaction for individuals in group settings.
* Be aware of equipment usage and safety precautions.
* Participate in all communication processes including team meetings and emails.
Requirements
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with service users.
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
* Basic knowledge of first aid and health and safety procedures.
