Job Title: Psychotherapy Professionals
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our team in a locum position at Castlerea prison. The successful candidate will work closely with the Psychology Service and the multi-disciplinary team to address the mental health and offence-specific needs of individuals referred to the Psychology Service.
The primary objective is to support the delivery of psychological treatment, focusing on offence-related and mental health interventions. This will involve managing a caseload, co-facilitating groups, and collaborating with prison psychology services to deliver high-quality interventions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* A recognised Level 7 qualification (QQI) in a relevant human science discipline or equivalent in a health and social care profession or health-related profession.
* Hold a degree or post-graduate qualification in counselling or psychotherapy recognised by one of the following bodies: IACP, IABCP, or a relevant body within ICP.
* Full accredited membership with one of the following bodies: IACP, IABCP, or a relevant body within ICP.
