Chief Data
Officer – Financial Services
A marketing leading
financial services firm are looking to a Chief Data Officer to lead the Enterprise
Data Function. The successful candidate will be responsible for evolving the firm's
data strategy and maximizing the value of their data assets to drive profitability
and efficiency across the organization. The role will report the COO and the successful
candidate will need to have an excellent understanding of data regulation, protection
and governance.
Role responsibilities
will include but not limited to:
* Designing and
implementing the firm's data strategy and creating value from their data assets
* Establishing
best practice data governance policies, procedures and processes around the
security of the firms data
* Continuous
improvement of data protection capabilities and monitoring of data protection
laws and regulation to make sure the organisation is compliant at all times
* Assist the
Operational Excellence function to drive continuous improvement within our
operating model using data analytics
* Lead the
design and delivery of an enterprise -grade technology infrastructure for data
that meets the organisation's current needs and supports future revisions of
our data strategy
* Work with
our Marketing Client and Data Insights Team to better understand the needs of
our clients, deploying analytics techniques (e.g. propensity modelling) to
deliver increasingly personalised services
Requirements
The Person:
o Previous
experience in a similar role driving technological change within a financial
services organization
o Experience
implementing data analytics initiatives to drive enhanced client outcomes,
improve employee experience/processes, and identify business growth opportunities
o 8 + years
of experience in senior data roles with exposure to GDPR compliance and regulatory
projects
o Deep
understanding of data governance and protection from regulatory,
organisational, and technology perspectives
o Strong
commercial acumen and must have the ability to apply data insights to drive growth
and efficiency within the business
Excellent
stakeholder management skills and be able to effectively communicate and work
with different areas of the business
