Parts Advisor Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team in Santry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing parts supply, stock control, and systems administration.
This is a fast-paced role that requires organisation, accuracy, and clear communication skills. You will work closely with technicians and suppliers daily to ensure the smooth operation of our workshop repairs.
The ideal candidate will have motor trade experience, strong parts knowledge, and stock management skills. Computer literacy, including Excel and Outlook, is also essential. A forklift license is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick, plan, and deliver parts for workshop jobs
* Liaise with technicians and suppliers daily
* Manage stock, deliveries, and returns
* Keep records updated (job cards, pricing, warranty)
* Support the front counter and phone queries when needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Motor trade experience - truck/trailer/HGV background ideal
* Strong parts knowledge and stock management skills
* Computer literate (Excel, Outlook)
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to work under pressure
* Forklift license is a bonus
