Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and passionate Junior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.This role is primarily a day time role.DutiesAssist in the preparation and cooking of breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu itemsSupport head chef in service, weekly planning, stock management and staff trainingPrep all food items as per daily requirementAssist with daily baking for inhouse dessertsRead and manage dockets on the pass to ensure timely and accurate serviceMaintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper storage and handling of food items.Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.SkillsProven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting.Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.HACCP trainedPrevious kitchen experience is preferred, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent organisational skills and time management abilities.A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentExpected hours: 30 – 40 per weekWork Location: In person
