A well-established financial services organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Test Analyst to join its QA Test Team on a contract basis. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. Role Responsibilities Produce structured test plans based on business and functional requirements Develop comprehensive test cases for System, UAT, Integration, Regression, and Service-Oriented testing (manual and automated) Prioritise and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines, including coordinating cross-functional work Operate effectively in an Agile environment, helping define achievable project plans and timelines Report and track test progress regularly using metrics-based approaches Demonstrate a strong track record in delivering QA objectives and targets, including within remote working setups Technical Competencies Minimum of 5 years' experience in QA and software testing Proficiency in object-oriented programming for test automation (preferably JavaScript or TypeScript with Playwright or Puppeteer) Experience with Service-Oriented Testing (e.g., API testing) Strong SQL skills, including the ability to develop and execute queries Familiarity with bug and issue management tools Experience using test case management systems Proven testing experience within the Financial Services sector Experience in Cloud-Based Testing and AI testing (advantageous) Behavioural Competencies Planning and Organising Communication and Influence Teamwork and Cross-Functional Collaboration Results-Oriented Problem Solving and Decision Making Education & Certifications Bachelors degree in an IT discipline or equivalent ISTQB or similar QA/testing certification (desirable) Additional IT-related qualifications considered an advantage Skills: Manual Testing Testing Automation Exploratory Testing Regression Testing Non-functional Testing Defect Tracking
