Our clients are seeking a highly skilled individual for a Senior Planner role.
This role will be based out of our clients HQ in Longford but will involve travelling to sites in Ireland, UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of contract and project programmes for structural steel projects.
Produce and maintain monthly progress reports, tracking key milestones, resource usage, and productivity.
Monitor project trends and outputs to support strategic planning and enhance the departments knowledge base.
Ensure all scheduling and reporting requirements for tenders and live contracts are delivered to the highest standards.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align planning activities with project goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
Conduct short- and medium-term planning reviews, offering forward-looking insights to identify and mitigate risks.
Challenge and evaluate construction methodologies, promoting continuous improvement and optimal project outcomes.
Requirements A relevant third-level qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
5+ years experience in project planning within the construction or structural steel industry.
Strong working knowledge of ASTA Power Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, Microsoft Excel and Power Point Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
