Job Overview
Restaurant Runner provides restaurant-quality fresh food for guests to have delivered to their accommodation during their stay.
Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager | Circa €36,400 per annum plus tips (plus discretionary service charge).
Responsibilities
* Provide coaching and guidance to your team, ensuring guest satisfaction and financial targets are achieved.
* Lead a team using previous catering or bar management experience at supervisory level.
* Support back‑of‑house operations and rotate through units with varying service styles and volumes.
* Proactively deal with guest queries at unit level or while out in the village.
* Apply financial awareness and use computer literacy and analytical skills as required.
* Manage working hours and shifts, working 150 hours per 4‑week period on a flexible basis, including weekends and public holidays.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential requirements
* Ability to lead a team in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
* Good level of computer literacy and analytical skills.
* Previous supervisory experience at a similar level.
* Excellent communicator.
* Excellent organisational skills while working under pressure.
Desirable requirements
* Previous management experience in a large high‑volume organisation or venue.
* Knowledge of financial targets and controls.
