Recruitment Consultant with TechHeads, operating in the Technology sector.

TechHeads is proud to be working with a growing Irish company based in the South of Ireland to offer an exciting contract opportunity. They are seeking an experienced Training Manager to join their team on a 6-month day rate contract, supporting a major greenfield project that’s central to the company’s next phase of growth.

In this role, you’ll lead the development and rollout of a refreshed training framework, working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and align training needs across the business. You’ll coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of training programs. This is a key position where your expertise will directly shape how knowledge is shared across the organisation.

As this is a brand-new role, you’ll have autonomy to build on and refine processes and frameworks. You’ll be trusted to introduce structure, bring fresh ideas, and take real ownership of your area, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to make an impact with their work in a fast-moving environment.

The hybrid working model in this role offers great flexibility, allowing you to manage your time and workload in a way that supports both performance and well-being. You’ll benefit from a balanced mix of remote and on-site work, giving you the freedom to deliver results without compromising on your personal commitments. This is a great fit if you're looking to make a professional impact while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

If you're ready to take on a varied and meaningful role where you can drive change, enjoy autonomy, and maintain flexibility, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with stakeholders to fully understand the training requirements as defined in the contractual agreement. Develop a comprehensive training plan for new system implementations.
* Design engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, online modules, and practical exercises, as required for each training stream. Deliver training sessions directly (when appropriate) or manage internal/external training providers to ensure high quality delivery.
* Organise and schedule all training sessions, considering the availability of personnel and resources. Secure appropriate training venues, equipment, and materials.
* Liaise closely with the Implementation Manager, operational teams, HR, QHSE, IT, Logistics and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of training activities with the overall project plan.
* Manage relationships with external training providers, including the procurement process (raising Purchase Orders - POs), contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
* Monitor and manage the training budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient delivery of all training activities.
* Provide regular updates on training progress, attendance, and effectiveness to the Implementation Manager and relevant stakeholders. Identify and escalate any potential risks or issues related to training delivery.
* Oversee all administrative aspects of training, including registration, attendance tracking, record-keeping, and the distribution of training materials.
* Implement mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Provide post-training support to employees as needed.
* Ensure all training activities comply with relevant legislation, company policies, and contractual obligations.

Required Experience:

* Proven experience as a Training Manager, ideally with experience in managing training programs within a project environment with tight deadlines.
* Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering technical and operational training.
* Strong project management skills, including planning, organising, and monitoring training activities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Duration: 6 Months
