Job Description
As a property transaction specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of residential and commercial property deals.
You will counsel clients, draft, review, and negotiate contracts for sale, transfer deeds, leases, and other relevant legal documents, handling the financial aspects of property transfers, ensuring all transactions adhere to current property law and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a full caseload of residential and/or commercial conveyancing files from inception to completion.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for purchase, transfer agreements, leases, and other pertinent legal documents.
3. Conduct title investigations, property searches, planning checks, and due diligence to identify potential issues.
4. Maintain open communication with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders, and other solicitors throughout the transaction process.
5. Provide clear legal advice and updates to clients regarding progress, risks, timelines, and obligations.
6. Handle exchange of contracts, completion arrangements, registration of title, and post-completion formalities.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and anti-money-laundering procedures.
8. Resolve any legal disputes arising during the conveyancing process.
9. Maintain accurate file management and meet performance targets.
