Service Technician
We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our dynamic Technical Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the servicing, repair, calibration, and installation of our Electro Medical Diagnostic, Monitoring, and Defibrillator equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a strong technical knowledge of all our Electro Medical products.
* Respond to customer service requests for repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.
* Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving product issues in the field or remotely.
* Open, track, and close service requests and product return cases, escalating when necessary.
* Maintain accurate service records in compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
* Support inventory management, including stock counts for service spares and equipment.
* Coordinate equipment calibrations and repairs, including making necessary bookings.
* Facilitate courier deliveries and collections of service equipment and parts.
Qualifications & Experience:
* A relevant third-level qualification in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field.
* Prior experience in a technical service role is desirable but not essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft applications; familiarity with ERP and QMS systems is a plus.
* Self-motivated, well-organised, and a strong team player.
* Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively.
* A full, clean driving licence is required, as occasional on-site customer visits may be necessary.
