My client, a leading provider of structural steel solutions in Ireland, with a strong reputation for quality, safety, and innovation are looking for aSenior Estimatorto join their team inCo.Longford. They design, fabricate and erect structural steel for large-scale Pharmaceutical and Blue-Chip projects across Ireland, UK and Europe.This role will play a key part in driving the continued growth of the business by providing accurate and competitive estimates on major steel projects.Duties:Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for structural steel projects.Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to fully understand client requirements.Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors to clarify scope and gather pricing information.Develop pricing strategies in line with company objectives and market conditions.Prepare and present tender submissions, cost reports, and bid clarifications.Work closely with the contracts and project management teams to ensure smooth handover of successful bids.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, steel fabrication methods, and market pricing.Mentor and support junior estimators within the estimating departmentRequirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural steel estimating in Ireland.Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.Proven track record in preparing accurate tenders for medium to large-scale projects.Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines.Salary:Salary circa €75k - €85k DOEBike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionCompany Health Care scheme
