About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Programmer to join our team based in Clondalkin, Co. Dublin.
">
The successful candidate will lead the preparation and updating of project programmes for tender submissions and operational projects for large-scale power, civil engineering, and other utilities projects.
">
Key Responsibilities:
">
">
* Develop logical and detailed project schedules using software programs, preferably MS Project or Primavera P6.
">
* Plan resources, equipment, and material requirements to optimize efficiency.
">
* Identify key project activities and update programs in response to changes in scope or unforeseen events.
">
* Track project milestones against baseline and report on progress to senior management for live projects.
">
* Identify potential delays and risks and propose solutions to maintain project timelines.
">
* Work with engineers, site managers, and site teams to gather scheduling data and update timelines accordingly.
">
* Assist in developing cost-effective project plans and estimating completion times.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
To be considered for this role, you will need:
">
">
* A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
">
* 3+ years of experience in construction programming or project scheduling.
">
* Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject.
">
* A strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and critical path methodology.
">
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
">
* An ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
">
* An ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
