Main duties and responsibilities
* Lead the service teams daily to ensure smooth operations, guest satisfaction, and service excellence.
* Build positive relationships with guests and team members, maintaining professionalism and service focus.
* Contribute to the development of the food & beverage offerings to ensure continuous improvement and success.
* Plan, direct, coordinate, and participate in all departmental activities, working closely with F&B management.
* Maintain close communication with the kitchen team to ensure harmony between culinary and service operations.
* Supervise stock management and requisitions for food and beverage to meet daily service needs.
* Oversee wine and beverage stocks, conducting regular checks to ensure proper storage and availability.
* Manage daily operations of the department, including on-the-job training for staff.
* Implement systems to control costs and achieve revenue and profit targets aligned with budgets.
* Optimize expenditure through effective use of manpower and assets.
* Organize staff schedules and supervise the team with a hands-on approach, ensuring timely task completion.
* Communicate regularly with the team through daily briefings, 1:1 meetings, and departmental meetings.
* Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of back-of-house areas.
* Adhere to safety and hygiene standards, ensuring cleaning schedules and equipment are properly maintained.
Requirements
* 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in Michelin-starred restaurants or luxury hospitality.
* Hospitality degree or equivalent is appreciated.
* Fluency in Italian and English; proficiency in a third European language is advantageous.
* Strong leadership, service orientation, and guest-focused attitude; skilled in people management and performance-driven.
* Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and non-verbal forms.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills; approachable, open-minded, and well-groomed.
* Availability for a long-term full-time contract in line with CCNL.
