Job Summary:
Our client are a leading pharmaceutical company who are hiring a Validation Engineer to join their team at their fill finish facility in Carlow. This job will be particularly focused on sterilisation equipment but cover a broad range of duties within a busy pharmaceutical plant. While an initial contract, there will be strong prospect for extension due to the busy nature of the company.
Main Duties:
* As Validation Engineer, your job will be to design, approve and execute qualification and validation documents with a particular focus on cleaning/sterilisation equipment.
* Resolving technical issues encountered during execution of studies.
* Engaging with relevant internal stakeholders during execution of qualification and validation activities.
* Root cause analysis of system failures, substandard performance, etc to resolve issues.
* Supporting continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodology.
* Ensure compliance of relevant guidelines related to validation activity on site.
* Any other duties as required.
Your background:
* For this Validation Engineer job, you will have 3+ years' experience in a similar position, particularly with sterilisation validation.
* You will also have a relevant third level qualification.
