System Installation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled System Installation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of complex systems.
About the Role:
* Install, test, and maintain complex systems, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibrations.
* FOLLOW ALL PROCEDURES RIGIDLY AND ENSURE CORRECT SOPs AND SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO PERFORMING INSTALLATIONS.
* Ensure systems are installed as per procedures satisfactorily through testing of equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation, and diagnostic techniques.
* Respond to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
* Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked, and non-conformances.
* Adhere to safety and security policy and quality standards.
Requirements:
* Techincal degree or equivalent in relevant field (mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
* SOME EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE WITH CVD/CMP/EPI TOOLS WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE BUT NOT REQUIRED.
* Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical problems during system installation.
* Ability to communicate efficiently through daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
* Project management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline, and installation quality requirements.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Confident English communication skills to work with colleagues and experts from all over the world and to read plant documentations and schematics.
* Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
* The position requires extensive travelling throughout Europe, up to 90%, with occasional travel to Asia or USA for training purposes.
