The Role
As a Senior SAP Business Planning and Consolidation Consultant, you will be in a strategic position and changes on a regular basis. You will work with a project that supports a key utilities provider in Ireland.
Key responsibilities:
- Driving end to end implementations in SAP BW focusing on planning solutions using Embedded BPC.
- Budgeting, forecasting and strategic long term planning including currency translation.
- Understanding of user roles, data management (work status), audit reports etc.
- Complete knowledge transfer for respective application area to other members of support team.
- Provide business analyst services to support new application products within SAP and external to SAP.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Extensive experience in SAP BPC with BW Components.
- Robust proven consulting and technical track record pertaining to SAP BW and BPC with strong experience of End-to-End implementation of Planning solutions using Embedded BPC.
- Good knowledge of data extraction from S/4, data modelling, BW-ABAP (AMDP), BEx Queries, Fox formula, AFO reports and Input Sheets.
- Planning functions and planning sequence knowledge vital.
- Building process chains and good debugging qualities.
- Hands on experience on Design Center, Control Center and web applications like Composition Center, Stream studio.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are mandatory for interaction with different stakeholders involved in the projects (i.e., in the business process definition stages, design, testing etc. with technical and non-technical people).
- Knowledge of standard testing practices for SAP Projects is key.
- Experience of working on large SAP projects.
- Experience of all phases of project lifecycle.
- Must be able to work independently or with a team, under minimum supervision, reporting to Project Manager of given assignment or Line Manager.
Good to have:
- Past experience with the application HP Quality Centre is an advantage (i.e., for the creation and execution of test scripts and the resolution of defects).
- Leadership qualities would be highly desirable.
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
