Financial AccountantLocation:Galway City Centre, hybrid of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Contract type:12 monthsAbout Your New EmployerJoin a leading multinational company with a strong global presence. whilst working in their brand new office in Galway cityBe part of a dynamic finance team that values innovation and professional growth.Work in an environment that offers excellent career development opportunities and exposure to international finance practices.About Your New JobAs the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:Preparing monthly financial reports, including analysis of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.Preparing and reviewing Statutory Financial Statements.Liaising with external auditors for periodic and year-end review procedures for local statutory audits.Liaising with Tax Specialists and Advisors to ensure compliance with all external reporting requirements, including VAT, Corporation tax, CSO, etc.Assisting with requirements for SOX Compliance and Reporting.Preparing, analyzing, and posting journals at month end.Preparing and analyzing balance sheet reconciliations at month end.Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.Enhancing existing processes and developing new ones to ensure the most efficient completion of duties.What Skills You NeedQualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills.Third Level Degree or equivalent.0-5 years relevant experience, preferably with Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background.Experience with SAP/Oracle or other major ERP Systems is desirable.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.Effective team player with the ability to work under own initiative.Strong computer skills, especially MS Office.What's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Exposure to international finance practices and a dynamic work environmentCompany pensionHealth insurance for employee and familyWhat's NextApply now by clicking the "Apply Now" button or call Kerry Legh on for more information.
