Staff Grade Psychologist

We are seeking an enthusiastic Psychologist (staff grade) with an interest in acquired disability and rehabilitation to work with our team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) for an immediate start. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above vacancies. Successful candidates will be placed on a panel until a suitable vacancy arises.
Eligibility and Qualification
A recognised University Degree or Diploma with first- or second-class honours in Psychology.
A recognised postgraduate professional psychological qualification appropriate to the area of professional psychology in which the position is designated and graded, and validated by the Department of Health and Children if completed outside the Republic of Ireland.
The requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and clinical ability, for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Experience of administering psychometric tests, undertaking clinical evaluations, providing recommendations, interventions, and clinical report-writing.
Research experience using a range of research methodologies.
Experience working in a hospital environment and/or interdisciplinary team setting is advantageous.
