Job Overview
A Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a company. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, managing a small finance team, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Main Accountabilities:
* Prepare regular financial reports and analysis as required by stakeholders.
* Manage payroll, employee benefits, VAT, and other relevant regulatory duties.
* Oversee operational expenses and contribute to annual budget planning, including forecasting profit and loss, cash flow projections.
* Provide ad-hoc financial insights and recommendations as needed.
* Manage inventory, costings, and stock control data.
* Prepare statutory financial statements and collaborate with auditors.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Certified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and strong interpersonal/negotiation abilities.
* Experience with business systems, preferably including SAP Business One.
* Advanced Excel proficiency.
