We are seeking a Statutory & Compliance Support Specialist to join our UK-based team. This role is critical in ensuring alignment with the core compliance function, maintaining oversight across multiple jurisdictions, and enabling efficient coordination with both internal stakeholders and external partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering statutory filings, supporting audits, and bridging global accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Filings & Audit Support: Deliver accurate and timely statutory filings and provide audit support across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions.
LSP Management: Manage interactions with Local Service Providers (LSPs), ensuring queries are cleared promptly and effectively.
Accounting Reconciliation: Bridge and reconcile US GAAP to local GAAP requirements, ensuring compliance with regional accounting standards.
Stakeholder Coordination: Support seamless coordination with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) and external stakeholders (auditors, regulators, service providers).
Compliance Oversight: Maintain strong oversight of statutory and compliance processes across jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and audit processes across multiple regions.
Experience with US GAAP and local GAAP reconciliation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
Prior experience working with external service providers and auditors.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
