Procurement Category Manager
You will play a pivotal role in executing category strategies at a local level, driving cost savings, efficiency improvements, and fostering strong supplier relationships.
The role encompasses key strategic categories including Maintenance & Production Services, Production Equipment, and Raw Materials.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute category strategies to deliver value and cost benefits through best-in-class procurement tools and processes.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to leverage economies of scale and optimize purchasing decisions.
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
* Drive cost-saving projects and forecast, budget, and report on financial KPIs.
* Support sustainability initiatives aligned with business decarbonization goals and promote environmentally responsible practices.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement or a related field.
* A degree in Business, Technical, or a relevant field is required.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential.
* Ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts effectively.
* An entrepreneurial mindset with leadership capabilities is necessary for success in this role.
