About the Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to transition into the aviation sector with one of the world's most respected engineering organisations.
As part of a high-performance global engine services team, you'll support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial jet engines across various environments from on-wing and on-site to full repair station operations.
* On-Wing Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs with the engine still installed on the aircraft.
* On-Site Repairs: Deliver mobile engine repairs at customer facilities when engines are removed.
* Repair Station Support: Undertake complex engine repairs at our client's advanced repair stations.
You will inspect, remove, install, and test jet engine and QEC components. Interpret technical documentation and OEM maintenance manuals. Travel globally to support customers during field service events.
Make informed technical decisions to ensure safe, efficient, and timely maintenance. Conduct FOD checks, duplicate inspections, and sign-offs under EASA Part 145 regulations.
Support quality assurance efforts through audit preparation and compliance activities. Issue Certificates of Conformance (as authorised) and manage configuration changes.
Required Qualifications:
* Level 6 qualification in mechanics, mechanical fitting, or industrial fitting.
* Recognised 3-year apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a mechanical discipline.
* Hands-on mechanical experience and strong diagnostic skills.
