RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a General Manager / Person in Charge (PIC) for a nursing home in North Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Assume complete accountability as the Person in Charge (PIC), as defined by the Health Act of 2007 and HIQA regulations.
* Provide strong, observable leadership to maintain a happy workplace and excellent morale.
* Create and implement operational and strategic plans for the facility.
* Ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
* Guarantee residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.
* Oversee risk assessments, care planning, and individualized services.
* Monitor incident management, clinical governance, and safety procedures.
* Promote ongoing quality improvement efforts.
* Adhere strictly to HIQA policies, procedures, and standards.
* Oversee planning and execution of HIQA audits and inspections.
* Maintain all legally mandated records and reports.
* Ensure timely and appropriate communication with HIQA and other relevant parties.
Requirements
* Active PIN and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* At least three years of managerial experience in a hospital setting within the last six years.
* Thorough knowledge of the Health Act of 2007, HIQA standards, and relevant statutory requirements.
* Proven managerial and leadership skills in a healthcare setting.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to motivate and lead teams to deliver high-quality care.
