Required for leading International contractor underking large data dentre,Innovation, hotel and power projects in Dublin.
Requirements
Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in an Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent discipline
1. 5+ years post-qualification experience with tier one contractors
2. Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager / Project Director, your key responsibilities will include
3. Agreeing project objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction
4. Responsible for the successful delivery of project through leadership, management, technical and engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of the project
5. Providing advice on the management of projects
6. Organising the various professional people working on a project
7. Monitoring the workflow of sub-contractors ensuring guidelines are maintained
8. Monitor construction to ensure quality of workmanship and materials
9. Work to resolve critical site issues
10. Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications
11. Ensure Design Team provide required information on time
12. Assisting the Project QS with the accounting, costing and billing to ensure the project is on budget
13. Agreeing programme and delivering the project in accordance with same
14. Chairing site meetings to include sub-contractor progress meetings and recording required minutes
15. Chairing Internal and Client Meeting as required by Project Lead / Contracts Manager and recording required minutes
16. Ensuring the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budget
17. Completing Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly Reports as part of Project development
18. Tracking Schedule Status and reporting accordingly
19. Tracking Project Controls and monitoring schedule and costs for the Project
20. Tracking and controlling Material & Plant requirements for the Project
21. Tracking Change Management on the Project and reporting accordingly
