Service Engineer

What you will be doing
As a key part of the Service Ireland team, you will create impact by ensuring customers across Ireland experience maximum uptime and performance from their Grundfos installations through expert on‑site diagnostics and repair.
Carry out pump repair, disassembly, fault finding, and diagnostics on Grundfos equipment at customer sites across Ireland
Commission and set up new pump, dosing, and disinfection systems to ensure optimal performance
Provide clear technical guidance and communicate effectively with customers on system status and recommendations
Maintain accurate service records and report on completed work using company‑provided digital tools
Collaborate with the wider 8‑person service team to share knowledge and ensure consistent service quality
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a practical, communicative engineer with an electrical background and a genuine passion for hands‑on technical problem‑solving in the field. We would also imagine that you have:
Technical college qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline
Proven field experience in electrical systems with working knowledge of mechanical components
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with customers on‑site
Full driving licence valid for Ireland
It is a plus if you also:
Experience with dosing and disinfection systems
Background in pump service, repair, or water technology
Familiarity with commissioning and setting up industrial or commercial water systems
