AREA DIRECTOR Person Centred Wing AreaPermanent, Full TimeWe are offering permanent exciting opportunity for an experienced senior manager to join our organisation as Area Director for the Person Centred Wing (PCW).This is a key leadership role with responsibility for driving forward the vision, mission and values of the organisation, while ensuring the delivery of highquality, personcentred supports that enable individuals to live selfdirected, meaningful and connected lives within their communities.The RoleThe Area Director PCW Area will contribute to the strategic, operational and governance responsibility for PCW services under their remit. The postholder will lead and support a multidisciplinary management structure, ensuring services are delivered in line with national disability policy, New Directions, HIQA standards and organisational requirements.The successful candidate will play a central role in promoting selfdetermination, community inclusion and quality of life for each person supported, while ensuring strong leadership, compliance, financial accountability and continuous service improvement.The Successful Candidate Will:Demonstrate strong, valuesbased leadership and a clear commitment to personlead practice.Provide strategic and operational leadership across a complex and geographically dispersed PCW service model.Ensure high standards of governance, quality, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.Lead, support and develop Persons in Charge, PCW Coordinators and frontline leadersPromote a positive, accountable and supportive culture across the Area.Effectively communicate with individuals supported, families, staff, professionals and external stakeholders.Plan, manage and monitor services and budgets within allocated resources.Champion continuous improvement, innovation and best practice.Requirements for the RoleRegistration on the Social Care Worker Division of CORU or the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (RNID), or another relevant professional qualification appropriate to the role.A recognised management qualification (or willingness to undertake same).Significant senior management experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.A strong working knowledge of HIQA regulations, New Directions, safeguarding and national disability policy e.g. advocacy, ADMA and UNCRPDProven experience in leadership, service governance, and regulatory compliance.Excellent communication, organisational and decisionmaking skills.A full manual driving licence and willingness to travel across the PCW Area.Additional InformationAs part of this role, the postholder will be required to travel regularly between service locations but the primary location for this post is Tullamore, Co.
