As a key member of our global insurance organization, you will lead a high-impact function as a Portfolio Strategy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor teams of underwriters, actuaries, and data experts to deliver performance across key lines of business.
* Own portfolio management activities, refining pricing strategy, and performance monitoring.
* Collaborate with third-party partners to enhance customer outcomes and profitability.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in Ireland and the UK.
* Monitor KPIs and business trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
* Act as business lead on strategic projects and regularly brief senior leaders on portfolio performance.
* Develop and maintain data-driven portfolio tools to support line reviews.
* Support and grow internal talent-set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and plan for succession.
Key Requirements:
* 5-7 years' experience in pricing, underwriting, risk, or financial control, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
* Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to drive results through teams.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (accountancy, business, or actuarial), with insurance qualifications being an advantage.
* Deep understanding of general insurance, underwriting performance, and regulatory frameworks in Ireland and the UK.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - able to translate complex data into clear action.
