Automation Controls Engineer
We are seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems for high-speed medical device filling and packaging lines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for new and existing equipment.
* Develop control strategies for complex automation sequences, including motion control, robotics, and vision systems.
* Troubleshoot and debug automation systems, identifying and resolving issues related to software, hardware, and electrical components.
* Perform system integration, testing, and validation activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in automation and controls engineering in a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience with PLC programming and HMI development for complex machinery.
* Strong understanding of servo motion control, robotics, and machine vision systems.
* Experience in development of user requirements specifications and validation methodologies.
* Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
