The Role of a Site Manager
As a skilled and experienced Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a high-quality housing development. Your primary goal is to ensure that all on-site construction activities are completed efficiently and effectively. You will manage all aspects of site operations, from groundworks to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and labour resourcing.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to ensure efficient progress.
* Maintain project documentation, site reports, and progress schedules.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
* Monitor quality control and ensure works are carried out to specification.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in residential construction. You must also possess relevant qualifications, such as Construction Management or Engineering, and hold valid certifications like Safe Pass and CSCS (Site Supervisor). Additionally, you should have excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
