Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers to deliver projects to customer sites.
* Design and develop industrial process automation solutions on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
* Create I/O schedules.
* Prepare functional design specifications.
* Design and configure user interface systems for industrial control (HMI/SCADA).
* Design control panels and create panel wiring schematics.
* Commission control systems in the field: I/O and instrumentation testing, full system testing and commissioning.
* Perform fault finding on control systems (PLC, HMI/SCADA, Communication Networks etc.).
* Provide design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated systems.
* Work closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through automation and data analytics technology.
* Offer technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments.
* Mentor and train junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Programming skills in languages used for PLC programming.
* Experience with automation and control systems.
* Knowledge of industrial control systems and network protocols.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
