About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to join our growing sales team. This dual-focused role will provide both prospecting support (50%) and administrative support (50%) to ensure the team is well-equipped to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable researching and engaging potential clients as they are organizing and streamlining internal processes. Although Dublin based, it would be to support both the Irish and Scottish Sales functions.


Role & responsibilities

* Research and identify potential leads through online tools, databases, and industry resources.
* Qualify leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
* Support sales campaigns with targeted outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls.
* Prepare prospecting lists and reports for the sales team.
* Track lead progression and provide insights on pipeline activity.
* Maintain and update CRM records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
* Assist with preparation of sales Quotes and proposals, presentations, and contracts.
* Coordinate meetings, demos, and follow-ups between sales reps and prospects/clients.
* Compile and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports.
* Provide general administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Sector or Depot management as deemed necessary from time to time.


Your skills & experience

* Previous experience in a sales support, commercial, or administrative role preferred.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* Confident using CRM systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Office/Google Workspace tools.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
