HV Electrical Tendering Engineer
to lead the technical and commercial tendering of complex Power & Renewables works. This is a hands-on, influential role shaping winning bids rather than a back-office estimating position, with strong progression and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all HV tendering activities across Power & Renewables projects
* Review and interpret HV specifications, drawings, and employer's requirements
* Coordinate inputs from engineering, construction, commercial, EHS and quality teams
* Prepare and manage technical submissions, clarifications, and compliant tender returns
* Act as the technical interface with clients during tender and post-tender stages
* Support the commercial team with technical input into pricing and value propositions
* Attend and lead post-tender meetings and technical workshops
* Manage multiple tenders concurrently while meeting strict deadlines
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures, standards, and governance
* Identify risks, opportunities, efficiencies, and improvements within tender processes
Key Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
* 3+ years' experience in HV tendering, pre-construction, estimating, or engineering roles
* Strong experience in High Voltage systems (transmission, distribution, substations, renewables)
* Excellent understanding of technical specifications and tender documentation
* Confident communicator able to engage with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
* Strong IT skills (reports, presentations, tender portals, documentation control)
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work on own initiative
* Flexible to travel when required
