Enable Ireland provides services to over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families from 43 locations in 14 counties.
Covering childhood to adulthood our expert teams work with the individual and their family on a plan for each life stage.
Our services for children cover all aspects of a child's physical, educational, and social development from early infancy through adolescence.
For adults we offer a range of personal development services.
We are currently seeking a highly-motivated
Senior Dietician
to join our team in
CHO 8 Meath CDNT 4 (Dunshaughlin / East Meath)
and
CDNT 5 (Navan / Slane)
.
Contract Type:
Permanent Part-time
Contract Hours:
28 hours per week / 0.80
Salary Scale:
€62,072 to €73,477 pro rata per annum (subject to LSI and increases in **** in accordance with the WRC agreement).
Annual Leave Entitlement:
33 days pro rata per annum.
Overview of the Post
The post holder will provide clinical nutrition services to Service Users referred by the Children's services teams.
This involves the provision of nutritional counselling and support, including the initial consultation and ongoing review.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Dietician by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.
Have 3 years full-time (or an aggregate of 3 years full time) post-qualification dietetic experience.
Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Provide proof of statutory registration on the Dietitians Register before a contract of employment can be issued and maintain annual registration thereafter.
Hold a valid driving licence for within the state/jurisdiction with access to own transport to deliver services across a large geographical area.
Have postgraduate experience of working with children with disabilities in a community-based setting.
Have postgraduate paediatric dietetic experience.
Hold postgraduate INDI Paediatric Course.
