A rapidly growing and well-regarded civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer for a large-scale residential project in Wicklow. With a significant pipeline of work in the Wicklow and South Dublin areas, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further their career with an expanding company.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring all work complies with the project specifications and safety regulations.
Setting Out / Sureveying
Work closely with the site management team to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
Oversee the execution of works by subcontractors, ensuring quality control and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress documentation.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Essential Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum 2 years experience on construction / civil engineering projects.
Previous experience on large-scale residential projects.
Strong understanding of site safety regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate between various teams.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
