About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our Limerick manufacturing operation across Corrugator, Conversion, and Engineering functions, managing a workforce of approximately 95 employees. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on developing people, driving performance, and creating a strong, engaged manufacturing culture.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop production and engineering leadership teams
Build a high-performance culture with clear accountability and ownership
Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and team development
Create strong collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Planning, Logistics, and Quality
Lead manufacturing performance across safety, OTIF, waste, quality, OEE, and productivity
Champion continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, TPM, SMED, and 5S
Drive a proactive maintenance and asset reliability culture
Ensure the operation delivers against customer expectations and site objectives
Qualifications
We’re looking for a strong operational leader who can balance people leadership with manufacturing excellence.
Required Skills
Proven experience leading large manufacturing teams within a fast-paced production environment
Strong leadership and man-management capability with the ability to motivate and develop teams and flexibility to work across the two shifts as well as “office hours”
Experience across production, engineering, and operational performance improvement
A collaborative leadership style with strong communication skills
Experience driving Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
A data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capability
Experience managing KPIs, budgets, performance, and operational efficiency
