Job Role:



* AML/KYC Specialist




Job Summary:






Key Responsibilities:



* Review deal agreements and KYC documents for new investments/borrowers; Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Follow up on missing KYC information with clients, vendors, or legal representatives; Maintain open communication channels to resolve issues efficiently.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date KYC information in clients/UBOs database and electronic document management system; Ensure seamless data integration across systems.

* Perform ongoing monitoring tasks related to investments and transactions/parties; Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

* Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills; Foster strong relationships to drive successful outcomes.

* Stay up-to-date with screening tools such as Worldcheck/Dow Jones/Finscan; Leverage expertise to optimize risk assessment and mitigation processes.

* Assist in the development of training materials and mentor new team members; Share knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.

* Contribute to CDD procedures and adhere to established protocols; Embed a culture of compliance within the organization.





Requirements:



* Possess a degree in law, business, finance, or economics; Apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.

* Gain experience in the Financial Services or Fund Services industry; Develop a deep understanding of the sector's nuances.

* Familiarize yourself with Anti-money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) legislation/directives; Stay compliant with evolving regulatory landscape.

* Demonstrate high interest in regulatory and compliance topics; Stay informed about industry trends and developments.

* Fluently communicate in English; Ability to comprehend complex concepts and articulate thoughts clearly.

* Work collaboratively in a team environment; Emphasize the importance of teamwork in achieving goals.

* Interpret regulatory guidelines and adapt to changing circumstances; Think critically to navigate complex situations.

* Demonstrate expertise in legal entity structures, both domestic and international; Understand the intricacies of global operations.

* Strive for results-oriented outcomes; Focus on delivering exceptional performance.

* Balance autonomy with attention to detail; Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Utilize software efficiently to streamline workflows.
