The Senior Social Work/Team Leader is a valuable member of the Children’s Disability Network Team who will provide quality evidence‑based service in line with family‑centred practice and Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles. The Team Leader will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and will also provide clinical supervision to social workers on the team.
The role supports children and their families presenting with complex needs arising from a combination of intellectual, physical, and/or sensory disabilities. The Team Leader will work full time on a specific purpose contract and will have opportunities for training and regular clinical supervision.
Pay: €71,690 - €82,693 (starts at point 1 if no prior public sector experience).
Essential Criteria
Degree or Master’s in Social Work or equivalent.
National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW).
Fully registered with CORU.
At least 5 years post‑qualification experience, with expert assessment, clinical and reflective skills.
Committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred, community‑based services.
Experience providing clinical supervision to basic‑grade social workers and/or students.
Excellent communication, time‑management skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
Desirable Criteria
Experience working with children with disabilities/complex needs or their families.
